Jonathan White, Partner

Jonathan has served a variety of clients with their leadership needs in the areas of assessment, executive coaching, onboarding, succession planning, board search, and retained executive search.

He began his professional career with IBM and progressed through successively broader leadership roles in the technology sector, ultimately starting his career in executive leadership development 1992.

Jonathan specializes in identifying and developing leaders for the boardroom, the CSuite and its direct reports. His expertise in specific functions include Chief Information Officers, Chief Technology Officers, and Chief Information Security Officers, and he has served clients in technology, financial services, and aerospace and defense sectors.

Coaching clients have noted that Jonathan’s impact was “life-changing” and “invaluable,” with a notable capability for assimilating new leaders into unique cultures. One key project included a global assessment evaluating 100+ leaders for one of the world’s largest financial institutions.

Jonathan was previously a Partner with Spencer Stuart and a member of the executive search firm’s Chief Information Officer Practice, Global Financial Services Practice, and Board Practice. He also served as Managing Director for the firm’s San Francisco office for six of his 14 years there.

Jonathan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with honors from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and holds an M.B.A. in marketing management with honors from the University of Southern California. He serves on the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee and as Secretary of the Board of Directors for Camp Southern Ground in Fayetteville, Georgia.
